This year's Shipping panel is to focus on two aspects. The first one deals with differences between the global and Polish ship management. The invited guests will concentrate on hazards and chances for the industry in Poland resulting from these differences. We will discuss tendencies present in the ship management around the world in the context of the Polish managerial and technical, crew, IT and administrative potential. In the previous years we unambiguously determined the potential of Poland in this regard as huge and still not fully exploited. This year we will make a certain summary and will try to find answers for such questions as: Where are we competitive? Which elements should be refined to boost competition? What can we do to make the global ship management our domain?
Another issue to be dealt with by our lecturers is the potential of the young generation in the context of international business. The speakers will analyse basic elements necessary for a young person to gain international success. To what extent can we support the young generation in systemic terms? What should be the Polish industry’s share in that process? How to educate international managers and how to create friendly and creative labour environment within the framework of Polish Shipping?
